We are currently not receiving volunteers for the Orphanage, but please feel free to send your interest anyway, as we would love to keep you informed & updated to the future dates when volunteers will be required.

Heart to serve Jesus & His Kingdom.

In the future we will be looking for Volunteers for:

Volunteer Carers:

Nannies Required (taking care of infants aged between 0-3yrs old)

Volunteers for child care (taking care of boys / girls aged 4-10yrs old)

Volunteers for Youth Care (taking care of youth aged between 11-16yrs old)

Volunteer Medical Staff:

Volunteers in First aid, Doctors & Nurses Required, along with Dental care.

Volunteer Building Trade Workers:

Volunteers with any trade experience~Electricians, Builders, Plumbers, Carpenters,

tilers & Plasterers, Concretors, Pavers & Painters.

Volunteer Gardeners:

Experienced Landscapers, or simply those who desire to serve in garden care.

Volunteer Cooks & Kitchen staff:

All qualifications welcome or none.

Helping just some of the 1.5 million children currently living on the streets throughout Egypt.

All Applicants Require proof of Identity & Accreditations (i.e- for Medical/ Dental Care >Through to Building service licenses etc)
Acceptance of a police check will be required for the safety of the children.

Things you may need to know:

All Accepted Volunteer Applicants need to make their own way to Egypt. Pick up from the Airport may be arranged @cost to you depending on the number of applicants arriving. Or we may simply suggest transport ideas, to get you from Cairo Airport to the Orphanage which is aprox 4-5 hour drive.
Medical Insurances, Vaccinations & Visa’s are to be organized by all Applicants before leaving their country of origin.
We accept, short & long term Volunteers, please let us know how long you can offer your services to the orphanage.
Additional costs involved: So that we take nothing away from the orphans, we simply ask a US$24 per day fee per person to pay for your accommodation & food, whilst you stay with us. (This is for shared accommodation. Private rooms will also be available & priced at request). Any transport will require additional funds to cover costs to the orphanage.

Volunteering in an orphanage overseas can make a positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged children, providing them with the support and attention they may not otherwise receive. Enthusiastic and giving volunteers who are willing to get involved will receive the greatest rewards, which also overflows to the children.

By getting involved in the day to day running of the home, making sure children are fed and cared for, stimulated with creative and educational activities and given lots of attention, - you will be making a really positive impact on their day to day lives.

There is always opportunities for any talents or interests you may have to be utilized. Arts, crafts and music are always popular activities and sports and games can be played. Many volunteers also help to educate the children in personal hygiene and social skills.

Why Volunteer in an Orphanage?

There are a many ways you can get involved to help improve the lives of orphans, from your own home or abroad. If you have the means, ability, and freedom to physically travel overseas to offer your services, there is no more rewarding way to spend your time. As an orphanage volunteer, both short-term and long-term, you can help prepare food, feed children, clean the orphanage, mentor, play and interact, teach, do administrative tasks, and more.

If you are unable to leave home and contribute as a volunteer, there are still plenty of options. You can sponsor other volunteers, or to building projects to house the children.
